Freedom Fest is the celebration of the emancipation of the State of Maryland on November 1st, 1864. Clifton Mansion seeks to recognize the history behind the Clifton Mansion and acknowledge the enslaved people who worked there.

About the project
Clifton Mansion came to The Mill Agency at Stevenson University. They sought to create an event that celebrated Maryland Emancipation Day. We created Freedom Fest. I was involved with the brand identity of Freedom Fest. The major themes of the designs are traditional African American colors and the tearing of paper, or tearing back the layers of history.
